Fees Required to Form a Corporation in Texas
The Texas incorporation fee is set by the Texas Business Organizations Code (BOC) and administered by the Texas Secretary of State. All fees are due and payable upon filing of your Texas articles of incorporation. Failure to pay the fee associated with any form will result in a delay in processing. The fee for filing Texas articles of incorporation is $300.00. If you wish to expedite your articles of incorporation this will cost you an additional $25.00 per document. There are also other fees associated with articles of corporation. For instance, if you need to make a change or amendment to your Texas articles of incorporation, the fee is $150.00. If you need to change your Registered Agent or Office, the fee is $15.00. If you file a form for Articles/Certificate of Share Exchange for your corporation, the fee is $300.00. If you elect to merge your business with another, the fee for filing that form is $300.00. Remember, if you wish to expedite your filing, the fee is $25.00 per form being filed.
