It’s always good to find out if this is a summer fling for the applicant or if he or she is putting down roots. Look for signs of longevity in their resume: infrequent career changes and advanced degrees show commitment and a goal-oriented mind that translates to a lifelong employee for you.

Fit the Work Environment
You may have found a perfect candidate who fits all of the requirements, but if you don’t think they will work with the rest of the team, you probably shouldn’t hire them.
